My Bio

I am a Entrepreneur for last 20+ years and call East Bay as my home. I am a small business owner and I deeply care about the community, and leadership within community. With that being said I founded a non profit “Lead For Earth”, which engages youths and guides them into leadership since 2021. While doing multiple projects we learned how each steps face challenges at the governance level more on Lead4Earth.org. In Aug 10, 2024 I saw the Mayor of City of San Ramon was running unopposed and went in extension, I felt this was pretty undemocratic, immediately after consulting few friends decided to run for office. On the top of it he is a sitting council member while serving his term supported by both sitting council member which was nothing but a power grab so their buddy can join them later. After election as predicted during appointment every one of them chose to ignore 11K(31%) votes as well as 350 people wrote or spoke to the council. Other council member in the city also ran unopposed. Similarly 62% races go unopposed in bay area. The key problem of community disengagement is knowledge about what is happening. This is the reason we built OpGov.ai (Open Governance Initiative) which amplifies and also question not he behalf of those community members to the elected officials. Now our model of fusing technology and journalism has revolutionized the media industry where we are committed to the principles of Transparency and Accountability. With that being said, I am originally from a small town in India, I am a father of three kids and live with my family in San Ramon, which is second largest populated town in AD16. With one kid in the Autism spectrum, I have learned how much value we have for ourselves when we have an ability to express ourselves.
